Biography

I have served Warwick Township as trustee for over 10 years and I am a director for the Ohio Township Association. In October 2011, Governor John Kasich reappointed me to the Ohio EPA Solid Waste Advisory Council.

My service to the community has given me intimate insight to the needs of our county. I want to build on our county's assets and will work very hard to attract new companies that provide higher paying jobs which Tuscarawas County desperately needs. I will continue to ensure that our environment remains safe for our children and future generations. There is a lot to be done and I am qualified, highly motivated and the right person for the job.

I am a passionate supporter and participant in the Huff Run Watershed Restoration Partnership Organization and have helped lead the cleanup of Mud Run. I am a member of the Farm Bureau and past member of the Teamsters Union and Retail Clerk Union.

I am a lifelong resident of Tuscarawas County. I have been married for 36 years to my husband, Jack, who is retired from General Electric in Dover. Jack is a disabled Vietnam Veteran and is currently serving on the Tuscarawas County Veterans Service Commission. We have enjoyed raising our three children, Abigail, Nathan and Nicholas in beautiful Tuscarawas County. Abigail currently lives in Green, Ohio and has her B.A. from Ohio University and her Masters of Science from Franklin University. Nathan has served in the United States Air Force since 1995 and is currently stationed at Fairchild A.F.B. in Spokane, Washington. Nicholas lives in Warwick Township and is currently employed by the Federal Aviation Administration as an Air Traffic Controller and serves as a volunteer firefighter in the township. We also have six grandchildren that we love and cherish.

I am dedicated and will continuously work to improve the quality of life for the citizens of our great county. I want to work for you!
